Inuyasha is a series by Rumiko Takahashi that ran in Japan. The manga was published in Shuukan Shounen Sunday. The story follows Kagome Higurashi who has the ability to travel into the past through a well that her family owns. While in the past she meets Inuyasha and discovers she possessed the Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls). After several events, the jewel is shattered and the two set off on a quest to find all of the broken shards.
