Version 4.0 has been in development for almost three full years but it’s finally ready to be officially released. As you can imagine it’s full of additions, changes and fixes. Look after the jump for the changelog and the download link.

Moving forward I am not sure if I’ll continue to post “full versions” here on the website or not. It’s a lot easier for everyone to just keep an eye on the Github Repository.

  • Added the ability for monsters and npcs to go multiple times on a turn. In [Info] put ActionsPerTurn=# where # is the number of times the monster/npc can go before moving onto the next person’s turn
  • Added a new battle type: Besieged. This is a rare battle event where an army of five squadrons of monsters will attack the Allied Forces HQ. It is not recommended to take on this army alone as losing has dire consequences.
  • Added a new item type: GainSkill. These items will teach players new skills that cannot be bought.
  • Added a new monster/npc skill: CompleteWeaknessShift. If set to 1 in [skills] the user will randomize weaknesses and resistances to various status effects, weapon types, and elements on EVERY TURN the user gets.

  • Added a new passive skill: DieHard. This skill will give a % of a chance to survive a blow that would otherwise result in death. This is an enhancement skill. The chance to survive is skill level %. Upon surviving you will get the same % back in HP.
  • Added a new passive skill: Connoisseur. This skill will give a +5 bonus to food items that add to str, def, int or spd
  • Added a new passive skill: SwiftCast. This skill will increase spell damage by 10%. This skill cannot be purchased and must be learned.
  • Added a new passive skill: Tensai. This skill will increase the rate that techs level up when being used. It will be 5x instead of 1x. This skill cannot be purchased and must be learned.
  • Added an enmity targeting system option to the game. When this is on the amount of damage that players do to monsters will help determine which player the monsters target.
  • Added a new battle type: Cosmic. Use CosmicOrbs to enter the Cosmic Battles. This battle type rewards winners with OdinMarks
  • Added a new battle type: Monster Fair. Use MonsterFairTickets (purchased in the misc shop) to start a battle in the Monster Fair. Monster Fair battles change every single day. Winning a fair battle will reward PrizeTickets which can be exchanged for items.
  • Added the mythic weapon that players can forge and upgrade using OdinMarks. Use !mythic in-game to see all the commands.
  • Added Allied Forces shop to the game. Use !shop list AlliedForces to see the services provided.
  • Added a key file. Do not modify or remove this file or the bot will not work correctly.
  • Added Treasure Goblins to the game. Upon killing one in a non cosmic/non torment battle there is a 25% chance that it will open a portal to the Gobbie Treasure Vault dungeon. This is the only way to access that dungeon.
  • Added new dungeons
  • Added a seasonal dungeon for October. For 1 CandyCorn you can purchase a HayrideTicket to enter Big Boo’s Haunted Hayride. This dungeon can only be entered in October and the HayrideTicket will be consumed upon use.
  • Added the ability for ignitions to be upgradeable. In the shop just purchase the ignition again. Each ignition can be purchased (that is, upgraded) up to 10 times. Each time adds .10 to the stat multiplier. The cost is base black orbs * level upgrading to.
  • Added daily login rewards. Every time a player logs in they will recieve a certain amount of an item based on a lst file.
  • Added a bonus to red orbs and killcoins to players for the first 24 hours of their character. New characters will receive a 25% bonus to red orbs and a 50% bonus to killcoins in the first 24 hours.
  • Added a new song.
  • Added a new style: HighRoller. This style will allow players to use !cardshark trading-cardname target to unleash the power of the trading card (i.e. use a monster’s techniques. The technique chosen is random). This style will also let you use !Gamble without equipping it and for 200 orbs instead of 1000. This style also increases damage done with Ranged weapons at level 5. The higher the style’s level the higher rarity of cards you can use with Card Shark.
  • Added a new style: TreasureHunter. This style will enhance dagger usage, increase player’s chances of receiving spoils, enhance stealing chance and give players access to !TrickAttack and !SneakAttack. Trick Attack and Sneak Attack both give a guarantee to critical hit as long as the player has the most and least amount of enmity respectively.
  • Added new trading cards
  • Added the ability for monsters, bosses and NPCs to have rotations. These are set blueprints on how they will react each battle. The information on how to set it up is in new_npc.char, new_mon.char and new_boss.char at the bottom of the file. Or see the MetalSlime and BlueSlime files for an example.
  • Added the ability for dungeons to have a Max Player limit. The dungeon will automatically start if the max number is met. In [Info] put MaxPlayers=# If # is null or 0 then there is no max.
  • Added limit breaks. Limit breaks are stronger than normal attacks. They must be purchased in the shop. Once purchased each limit requires a certain percent on the limit break meter. Use !limit breaks to see which limits you own and the % of the meter. Use /me limit breaks [targetname] with [limitbreakname] to use a limit break. All limits will reset the meter to 0% no matter how much it needs.
  • Added the ability for Red Orbs and Black Orbs to be used in alchemy.

CHANGES

  • Changed the minimum shop level for players who are 100+.
  • Changed the way multi-hit melee attacks are displayed
  • Changed the way multi-hits are calculated
  • Changed the amount of style points needed to achieve different ranks. It is harder on higher battle levels now.
  • Changed the skill and technique shops to be able to use Kill Coins as their currency to purchase.
  • Changed SpawnAfterDeath to allow multiple things to spawn
  • Changed AI vs AI battles so that the battle will end in a draw after 50 turns.
  • Changed active skills so that most of them have to be equipped in order to use in battle. There can only be 5 active skills equipped at a time now. Use !skills equip skillname to equip or !skills remove skillname to remove.
  • Changed dungeons so that they can all be entered alone but they have a recommended party size.
  • Changed dungeons so that if a player enters alone or below the party size trusts and summons can be used.
  • Changed the “food” type items so that more than one stat can be affected. Just put a . between the stats, like str.def.intIt is recommended not to use TP or HP in the stat list for multiple stats though due to issues that would arise.
  • Changed the !hp, !tp, and !ig commands so that they can be used on other players. Note that they cannot be used on monsters or npcs.
  • Changed Trickster so that it no longer affects the stealing chance. This has been moved to the TreasureHunter style instead.
  • Changed !view-help skill so that it will show the style skills if a player tries to view them.
  • Changed the MonsterSummon skill so that it can now summon boss monsters (files in \bosses\)
  • Changed the max amount for certain enhancement point upgrades.
  • Changed the amount of stat points it takes to “level up” on levels 101+
  • Changed the dragon hunt dragon generation. The time it takes to generate a new dragon has changed based on how many “active players” there are in the game at the time of dragon gen check. A player is considered active if he/she has logged in within 48 hours.
  • Changed how often dungeons can be started by players. It is now 3 hours (down from 24).

REMOVALS

  • Removed !toggle damage formula — The old formulas are still in the bot but I want to focus on one formula for players moving forward.

This version has 58 additions, 19 changes, 14 major fixes and 1 removal. There’s probably been way more than that, to be honest, but those are the ones I documented.
