Bleach Chapter 423

[December - 20 - 2010]

It has been over a year since I last did a full chapter translation of Bleach. I figured I should probably remedy that. I picked chapter 423 because it could have worked as a real ending to Bleach. Plus the ending is kind of touching. I know there’s several chapters out past this but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to them. Anyway, enjoy!

Kaiou 7.4b Released

[December - 16 - 2010]

This is a small update to the bot that I thought I would release as a Christmas gift to anyone who still uses this program.

ADDITIONS

  • Upon the very first run the bot will now attempt to help the user set everything up.
  • Added !accesslevel to eventually replace !newlevel.
  • Added the ability to sell items. Max amount a player can sell an item for is 80 zeni (92 with haggling)

CHANGES

  • Changed a few minor things so that bot owners wouldn’t be reset to a basic user upon setting up their character for the first time.

FIXES

  • Fixed the possibility of having negative HP/MP when using a boost if the boost was set up to take away HP/MP. Now if the player doesn’t have enough it will simply not let the player boost.

Bleach chapter 429 spoilers

[December - 1 - 2010]

Well I’m up a little late tonight and the Japanese spoilers for chapter 429 just came out. Thought I’d take a crack at it out of boredom. So if you want a first glimpse at the spoilers, continue reading. If not, ignore this post.

Or watch it on Youtube

I seem to be suffering from some major artifacts in my compression lately. I’m not really sure why. I’ll have to play around with the compression settings some more and see if I can get it back to normal. :/

Kubo Tweet #013

[November - 29 - 2010]

Kubo Tite said: なぜかモウリーニョのbotにフォローされとる…。 RT @Mourinho_bot: @tite_kubo Bonjour

“Why am I being followed by Mourinho bot? RT @Mourinho_bot: @tite_kubo Bonjour”
(Or you could read it as: “for some reason I’m being followed by Mourinho bot.” But I prefer the former.)

The only bots I ever get following me on Twitter are porn bots. :(

New Video: Mail-a-Clone

[November - 24 - 2010]

It’s time for a new video from me! Hooray!

Or, if you’d prefer, watch it on Youtube.

New Videos

[November - 22 - 2010]

I’ve been working diligently in trying to restore all my old lost videos. While you wait patiently for me to find and upload them, I’ve gone ahead and added a new video that sort of explains what happened. If you’ve read the last entry then this won’t really be anything new but watch it anyway. :)

Where’s Iyouboushi?

Breezieana and I have also uploaded a new video to our joint channel. It’s another questions video only this time they’re holiday themed. Hooray!

Iyou and Breezieana Holiday Q & A

And finally, I’m working on a really short new video that will probably be up in a few days. Here’s a screen shot of it:

That is all. For now.

Goodbye Old Youtube Channel

[November - 19 - 2010]

Woke up this morning to find out that Google has erased my youtube account. So all my videos (some of which I may not be able to get back), my subscriptions, my playlists and favorites are all gone. Not amused.

Apparently it was due to a copyright violation from Sony Music Japan International Inc. It was on a video that I had uploaded a good year or so ago. It was the Rurouni Kenshin SeisouHen trailer that I had downloaded from the Kenshin website back in 2001 or 2002. The quality of the thing was awful (the entire resolution was probably smaller than the palm of my hand) but I didn’t see it anywhere on youtube so I thought that I’d upload it and share it with the world (since I am known online as being the Rurouni Kenshin guy). Guess now I know why it’s nowhere to be found online any more.

Nothing I can do about it. In fact this might even be a good thing. Not a good thing that I lost all the messages, subscriptions (most of which I can’t remember) and favorites (I had so many favorites, ugh) but a good thing in that I can finally create new channels and separate my stuff. I’ve already done so, in fact.

youtube.com/
jmp1139 <– going to be where I keep my favorites and subscriptions now. Won’t have any videos.
iyouTV <– going to hold my skits/sketches/real life stuff (like the 25 questions and fireworks video)
iyouGames <– will hold the gaming videos/let’s play stuff I do.

If my videos don’t fit into one of those categories it’s not going back up online. So goodbye Tekkaman Blade opening video. Goodbye pretty much anything anime related..

Sucks to have to try and maintain three freakin accounts but at least this way if Google decides to axe one of them I won’t lose EVERYTHING all at once with absolutely nothing I can do about it.

As of right now, though, there’s no videos added to any of the channels. Because of this the video links around the site are broken. I’ll do my best to get them back up when I have time.

Iron Man 2 Review

[November - 18 - 2010]

Iron Man 2 is the second installment of the Marvel comic book film that follows Tony Stark as Iron Man. This film fits as part of the newer “Marvel Cinematic Universe” in which multiple Marvel films are related and interconnected (leading up to an Avengers film). Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., who reprises his role as Tony Stark. In cinematic canon, it takes place six months after Iron Man [2008], and directly before The Incredible Hulk [2008]. But how does this film hold up to the first (which I haven’t officially reviewed on here yet but absolutely loved)? Let’s take a look.
