Believe it or not, Kaiou has been updated to version 7.2. WHAT’S NEW? Lots of stuff! Kaiou 7.2 adds a new CAPSULE feature to the bot! Now winners of battles may have a random chance of being rewarded with a capsule that will unlock different things. There’s also a command to add multiple technique descriptions for those who want to spice up their characters a little bit, a new weapon type (“claw”), some minor tweaking to help balance things out and, as always, various bug fixes. Overall, this may be one of the stronger versions of the bot and I feel it’s finally approaching what it should have always been.

This is my attempt to translate the song “Memories in the Rain” that is included in the first Bleach Beat Collection.
The Kaiou 7.1c Patch fixes several few bugs that were found in the rushed 7.1b patch (and several that have been in the system for ages) in addition to adding a few goodies: a command to let monsters fly, a new tech type (“ranged”), Elemental Immunities/Weaknesses/Strengths, and other things. Be sure to download and patch your Kaiou and read the patch information for more details. NOTE: This version also replaces the old Kaiou “equipment.lst” “items.lst” and “accessories.lst” with updated versions. If you have added your own equipment, accessories, or items, be sure to copy your version out before patching so that you don’t lose your work.

Another day, another Kaiou patch. I present Kaiou 7.1b patch. It’s not a big patch but it fixes a few errors. For a full list of what this patch does, keep reading.
Well, I’ve always know that fansubbing was hard work. Even when I was messing around with that one program that added subs into the video itself (using Virtual Dub) I thought it was pretty taxing. But today I decided to translate as much as I could of Bleach ep 61 using a .srt file (so I didn’t have to worry about encoding and all of that other stuff). The real pain is really the timing. It took me several hours just to time the first twelve minutes. And that is about as far as I’m going to take it.
There’s a few spots where I didn’t translate/add dialog yet and I probably won’t go back to it (unless I get really, really bored). I figure by the time I finally time it all and then go back to translate and add the dialog DB will have already released the subbed version, so what’s the point? Awesome episode though.
I’ve finished the Kaiou Updater (C# version) and it’s ready for download! Woooo!
I’ve made and released Kaiou 7.1 patch. Anyone out there who’s actually using Kaiou should download and install that one right away as it not only adds a lot of cool new stuff, but fixes a lot of bugs too. For a full list of what this patch does, keep reading.

It took over a year but it’s finally here! Battle Arena 3.2 is done and is now available for download. As usual it’s chalk full of additions, changes and fixes — most of which will be listed after the jump. Hope everyone has happy holidays. See you in 2017.
